we planned to study. They arrive in the middle of
ordinary life and remind us how much our actions,
responsibilities, and relationships matter.
Rally 12 — Standing Tall Together
Courage begins with recognizing what is right.
Integrity requires us to act on what we know.
Accountability asks us to take responsibility
for our own choices.
Standing tall together requires something more:
recognizing that other people have needs,
responsibilities, boundaries, and agency too.
We cannot serve one another effectively
if we are unwilling to listen.
LISTEN.
COMPREHEND.
RESPOND.
FOLLOW THROUGH.
Our responsibility is not to control every
outcome. It is to recognize what needs to
be done and faithfully do our part.

King Benjamin reminds his people that
service is part of how we live our faith.
Service is not simply doing what we
want to do for another person.
