End of Rally 4 — What Will I Carry Forward?

Rally 2 taught us to STOP • HEAR • COMPREHEND • RESPOND. Rally 3 taught us to KNOW WHAT BELONGS WHERE. Rally 4 asks what happens when understanding becomes action: What belongs to me to change? What do I need to repair? What old behavior am I ready to replace? How will I use my agency? What will I carry forward?

Listen • Learn • Choose • Act.
Reflect • Correct • Repeat.
Stand Tall & Carry It Forward.

Rally 4 — Closing Purpose

Rally 4 closes with reflection, accountability, repentance, and preparation. The point is not to add one more lesson just because the calendar reached Sunday.

What Did I Learn?
What Did I Change?
What Am I Carrying Forward?

Faith becomes meaningful when we put it into action. We can listen, learn, choose, correct ourselves, respect another person's agency, and keep moving.

Scripture Focus — Agency + Change

Alma 34:32
This life is the time to prepare.

2 Nephi 2
Agency, opposition, responsibility, and the freedom to choose.

Moroni 6:5
Meet together often, remember one another, and strengthen one another.

3 Nephi 11:3–17
Listen carefully, recognize the voice, and personally come unto Jesus Christ.

Rally 4 Review

  • Integrity: Did I do what I knew was right even when nobody was watching?
  • Service: Who did I help without expecting something back?
  • Accountability: What belongs to me to correct?
  • Communication: Did I listen before assuming I understood?
  • Family: Did my actions strengthen my home?
  • Education: What did I learn that changed what I thought I knew?
  • Stewardship: Did I care for what was entrusted to me?
  • Truth: Did I search for truth instead of simply accepting what I was told?
  • Independence: What can I now responsibly do for myself?
  • Repentance: What old habit am I replacing with something better?

This Week's Challenge — OLD → NEW

Choose one behavior to leave behind and deliberately replace it with something better.

Interrupting → Listening
Blaming → Accountability
Ignoring → Responding
Complaining → Helping
Assuming → Asking
Depending → Learning
Holding Anger → Forgiving
Knowing Better → Doing Better

Repentance is not only recognizing a problem. It means turning, correcting what can be corrected, and choosing a better direction.

Family + Classroom Discussion

  • What is one thing Rally 4 taught you?
  • What do you understand differently now?
  • Who helped you?
  • Who did you help?
  • What boundary did you learn to respect?
  • What responsibility can you now take without being reminded?
  • What are you carrying into Rally 5?
The Youngest Mind Rules the Roost.
Let the youngest mind answer first. Everyone else gets an opportunity to practice listening before teaching, correcting, or responding.

Mother's Creeker.site Book Club — Hear It

The goal is not simply to finish. Listening while working, exercising, cleaning, creating, driving, or gathering together can make scripture part of ordinary life.

What Did You Hear
That You Had Not Heard Before?

READ → STOP → HEAR → COMPREHEND → QUESTION → CONNECT → VERIFY → RESPOND

End-of-Rally Declaration

I am a child of God.
I have agency.
I am responsible for what I choose to do with what I know.
I can listen before I judge.
I can learn before I speak.
I can admit when I am wrong.
I can forgive without surrendering healthy boundaries.
I can serve without controlling another person.
I can accept help without surrendering my independence.
I can honor my family while still becoming my own person.
I can replace an old behavior with a better one.
I can search for truth.
I can continue learning.
I can stand tall without standing above another person.

When I Know Better,
I Can Choose to Do Better.

Who Does This Help?

If it helps only me, I should look again.

If it helps me by hurting somebody else, I should reconsider.

If it helps another person become stronger, wiser, safer, freer, kinder, or more capable while respecting their agency, I may be headed in the right direction.

DOES THIS HELP®
Ask the question before deciding the answer.

Rally 4 Complete — Prepare for Rally 5

Listen • Learn • Choose • Act.
Reflect • Correct • Repeat.

We are not finished.

We are prepared for Rally 5.

Prelude — Focus

Focus does not mean everything else disappears. It means knowing what deserves attention right now. Boundaries tell us where responsibility stops. Namespace tells us where something belongs. Faith reminds us that we do not have to see the whole road before taking the next faithful step.

Live Light — Build What Helps

This week's development focus has been ll.w3connect.com. Live Light is becoming a working environment around an Emotion Code practice: client organization, scheduling, notes, communication, accounting, and the everyday question behind DOES THIS HELP® — what does this person actually need next?

Build the tool around the human being — not the human being around the tool.

Tyler — Family Focus

Rally 2 recorded Tyler moving through court-ordered treatment and our family's work toward appropriate support. This week Corey and I are petitioning to become co-guardians of Ty.

That is a serious legal step. It is not about defining an adult son by his hardest chapter. It is about asking the court to determine what assistance he presently needs and what lawful role family can have in protecting his interests while he works toward greater stability and self-advocacy.

TylerRomeroNiner.com remains focused on the whole human being behind every appointment, court paper, disagreement, memory, and hope for tomorrow.

Ty is still Ty. One conscious step at a time.

Dizzy Coffee Co. — Boundaries Check-In

Monday brought another boundary lesson through dizzycoffeeco.w3connect.com . I passed Beth a note I had been holding onto. She has not reached out since.

Rally 2 already taught us that silence is not proof somebody received, ignored, rejected, or understood a message. I communicated. Now I can leave room for another person to decide whether and how to respond.

A boundary does not require chasing somebody until they agree with it. Silence does not require me to fill in the blanks.

#MattersOfNamespace — Computer Science in Action

A namespace tells us what belongs where. A domain is not just decoration after a name.

w3connect.com and w3connect.com.br are different Internet domains. For clarity, w3connect.com/ns belongs within the W3CONNECT.com namespace. I do not represent w3connect.com.br as being associated with W3CONNECT.com.

I have concerns about confusingly similar naming and believe those concerns deserve careful documentation and investigation. Rally 3 applies the same standard here that we apply everywhere else:

Say What You Know.
Distinguish What You Believe
From What You Can Prove.

Document it. Establish the timeline. Preserve the evidence. Research the rights. Then use the proper administrative or legal process if the evidence supports it.

Namespace Is Also a Life Lesson

Mother. Father. Child. Neighbor. Friend. Client. Practitioner. Teacher. Court. Church. Business. Developer.

Problems begin when we stop recognizing where one person's authority ends and another person's begins. A mother can love an adult son without owning his identity. A practitioner can help without becoming the client's entire life. A friend can disagree without controlling another friend's conscience. A website can link to another website without becoming that website.

Know what belongs where.

The Youngest Mind Still Matters

Children do not need adults who pretend to know everything. They need adults willing to demonstrate what responsible people do when they do not know everything.

  • Ask.
  • Research.
  • Verify.
  • Correct yourself.
  • Apologize when appropriate.
  • Maintain the boundary when appropriate.
  • Keep learning.

Rally 3 Assignment

MONDAY — BOUNDARY: Communicate one needed boundary clearly without anger.

TUESDAY — FOCUS: Choose the three things that actually deserve your attention.

WEDNESDAY — NAMESPACE: Look at one conflict and ask, “Whose responsibility is this?”

THURSDAY — VERIFY: Separate one strong belief into WHAT I KNOW • WHAT I BELIEVE • WHAT I STILL NEED TO LEARN.

FRIDAY — BUILD: Make, repair, organize, code, clean, or create something that genuinely helps.

SATURDAY — HOME: Put something down. Not every unresolved matter deserves another Saturday.

SUNDAY — RETURN: Come back to Jesus Christ. Listen. Learn. Take what helps home again.

Weekly Questions

  • Did I spend my attention where it actually mattered?
  • Did I respect another person's boundary as seriously as I expect mine to be respected?
  • Did I mistake silence for an answer?
  • Did I distinguish evidence from interpretation?
  • Did I help without trying to control?
  • Did the technology I built actually help a human being?
  • Did I leave room for new information to change my understanding?
  • When the week became overwhelming, did I remember my focal point?

Rally 3 Archive — Sunday Return

Previous program: Sunday, August 23, 2026 — the close of Rally 3.

Today we finish Rally 3.

The week's instruction has brought us here:

Come Back to Jesus Christ.
Listen.
Learn.
Take What Helps Home Again.

Before we move into another lesson, today is a day to ask:

  • What actually belonged to me this week?
  • What did I finally recognize did not belong to me?
  • What deserved my attention?
  • What did I need to put down?
  • What did I learn because I stopped long enough to listen?
  • What do I now understand differently than I did Monday?
Finish the lesson before beginning the next one.

One Year Ago — Faith of Our Fathers

A year ago our lesson was looking backward.

Faith of Our Fathers asked us to remember the faith, work, sacrifices, courage, mistakes, lessons, and choices of those who came before us.

Parents. Grandparents. Ancestors. Pioneers. Teachers. Neighbors. People whose choices became part of the road beneath our feet.

But remembering does not mean copying every choice.

Faith from another generation can give us a foundation, but each generation still has to decide:

What Will I Do
With What I Inherited?

Some things deserve to be remembered.

Some deserve to be preserved.

Some deserve to be restored.

Some deserve forgiveness.

Some deserve another look.

And sometimes experience teaches us that something should not simply be handed unchanged to the next generation.

One Year Ago — Zion Was Always Here

Then we looked around.

Friends.
Companions.
Community.
Covenant People.

“Zion Was Always Here” was not only asking where Zion might someday be.

It asked how people behave toward one another where they are already standing.

John 13:35

“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”

That lesson belongs beside Rally 3.

Namespace asks: Who belongs where?

Boundaries ask: Where does my responsibility stop?

Community asks: How do we live beside one another without possessing one another?

Zion Is Built Between People.

Last Year → This Week

Last year:

Remember where you came from.

This week:

Understand where you stand.

Faith of Our Fathers asks us to remember the road behind us.

Zion Was Always Here asks us to notice the people beside us.

Rally 2 taught us to:

STOP • HEAR • COMPREHEND • RESPOND.

Rally 3 taught us to:

KNOW WHAT BELONGS WHERE.

Together they ask:

Do I Understand
Before I Decide
What Belongs in My Hands?

Sunday Comprehension Check

Comprehension is more than hearing words.

Before answering, ask:

STOP

Am I reacting before I understand?

HEAR

What was actually said?

COMPREHEND

Can I explain it accurately in my own words?

QUESTION

What am I still missing?

VERIFY

What do I know?

What do I believe?

What do I still need to learn?

RESPOND

What is my thoughtful response after understanding?

Comprehension comes before conclusion.

Mother's Creeker.site Book Club

Next Challenge — Cover to Cover in Six Days

The Mother's Creeker.site Book Club takes the comprehension work we have already been practicing and puts it into actual reading.

The next challenge is not only:

Can you finish the book?

It is:

Can You Finish It
and Comprehend It?

The reading path:

READ → STOP → HEAR → COMPREHEND → QUESTION → CONNECT → VERIFY → RESPOND

And once we truly comprehend, a new question becomes possible:

What does what I learned ask me to do next?

Mother's Creeker.site Book Club — PV Learned • Class of 2014

The Six-Day Reading Rhythm — Preview

DAY 1 — READ
What does the text actually say?

DAY 2 — HEAR
What might I miss if I read too quickly?

DAY 3 — COMPREHEND
Can I explain what I have read in my own words?

DAY 4 — QUESTION + VERIFY
What needs another look?

DAY 5 — CONNECT
How does this connect to scripture, history, family, school, community, or experience?

DAY 6 — FINISH + RESPOND
What did I learn because I kept reading?

Finishing the page is reading.
Understanding the page is comprehension.
What we do with what we understand comes next.

The Youngest Mind — One More Lesson

This week already reminded us that children do not need adults who pretend to know everything.

Today we finish that thought.

Responsible adults can say:

  • I don't know yet.
  • Let me read it again.
  • Let me research that.
  • I misunderstood.
  • I need more evidence.
  • I was wrong about that part.
  • I still believe this part.
  • That boundary still matters.
  • I learned something new.
  • I'm willing to keep learning.
The example isn't knowing everything.
The example is knowing how to keep learning.

Faith • Namespace • Comprehension

The three lessons meet here:

FAITH
I can take the next faithful step without seeing the entire road.

NAMESPACE
I can recognize what belongs in my hands and what belongs in another's.

COMPREHENSION
I can understand before reacting.

Remember.
Understand.
Then Choose.

Sunday — Respect Radar

Before another week begins, look at three relationships.

Relationship #1
Did I respect their boundary?

Relationship #2
Did I expect somebody else to carry something that belonged to me?

Relationship #3
Did I take responsibility for something that actually belonged to them?

Then ask:

What would love, respect, agency, and clear boundaries look like here?

One Year Later — The Generation Check

What did the generation before me give me that I am grateful to carry?

________________________________________

What did experience help me understand differently?

________________________________________

What do I want the generation behind me to learn from the way I handled this year?

________________________________________

What we inherit becomes history.
What we choose becomes somebody else's inheritance.

Today's Weekly Questions

  • What did Rally 3 teach me about responsibility?
  • What did Rally 3 teach me about boundaries?
  • What did Rally 3 teach me about silence?
  • What did Rally 3 teach me about evidence?
  • What did Rally 3 teach me about assumption?
  • What did Rally 3 teach me about another person's agency?

  • What did I finally put down?
  • What did I understand differently by the end of the week?
  • What lesson from a year ago still matters today?

Preparing for Tomorrow — Not Starting It Yet

Rally 3 has one final job:

Finish the Question.

First:

What belongs where?

Then:

What belongs to me?

Then:

What belongs to somebody else?

Then:

What do I know?

What do I believe?

What do I still need to learn?

Only after we have done that are we ready for tomorrow's question:

Now That I Know
What Belongs to Me —
What Will I Do With It?

Monday, August 24, 2026 begins:

RALLY 4 — REPENTANCE: REAL CHANGE

We are not answering that lesson today.

Today we prepare ourselves to understand it.

Closing Thought — Where Did the Week Go?

Into family. Into work. Into WordPress. Into boundaries. Into court paperwork. Into clients. Into conversations — and unanswered conversations. Into namespace. Into learning when to act and when to stop pushing for an answer.

Into Live Light.

Into building tools around human beings.

Into family questions.

Into boundaries that did not require another response.

Into documenting what we know.

Into admitting what we still do not know.

Into remembering where we came from.

Into recognizing who is standing around us.

Into reading.

Into listening.

Into comprehension.

Maybe a week does not disappear.

Maybe We Spend It.
Rally 3 asks: Did I spend mine on what mattered?

And today adds:

Did I learn enough this week to recognize what truly belongs in my hands next?

Closing Prayer

God, our Eternal Father, thank Thee for another week to learn.

Help us recognize what belongs in our hands and what does not.

Give us courage to protect appropriate boundaries without losing compassion; wisdom to distinguish what we know from what we merely suppose; patience when answers have not arrived; and strength to perform the work that genuinely belongs to us.

Help us serve our families without possessing them, help our neighbors without controlling them, and use the technology we create to make people's lives more comprehensible rather than more complicated.

Thank Thee for those who came before us, for the faith, work, experience, stories, and lessons they left behind.

Help us remember what is good, learn honestly from what was difficult, and understand what should be carried forward.

Help us recognize the friends, companions, neighbors, family, and community already standing around us.

Help us stop before reacting, hear before deciding what another means, comprehend before drawing conclusions, research when we do not know, and correct ourselves when new understanding requires it.

Help the youngest minds among us see adults who are willing to learn, ask, verify, apologize when appropriate, maintain boundaries when appropriate, and continue forward with humility.

Help us keep Jesus Christ as our focal point while we finish Rally 3, remember where we came from, understand where we stand, and prepare for what tomorrow will teach.

In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
